I am using the OMD EM5 with a telescope as the lens. Can I use the camera's Live View from the PC? Can I operate the shutter from the PC (Bulb Mode)? Can I have the resulting images sent to the PC each time the image is created?

Yes. You can do all the mentioned things by installing OLYMPUS Studio. To control the camera from the PC, after you opened the application, select the Computer Mode from the upper right corner of the screen. To capture an image, you need to press the Shooting button from the lower right corner of the screen. To be noticed that all the images captured in this state will automatically be transfered to the computer and you can view them in this program.
I have many pictures in my Olympus but I am unable to open the program. Microsoft Windows says it's not responding. Any ideas?

When you connect the camera to computer, you have the possibility to select the connection mode. In this case, please choose Mass Storage and browse the storage on your camera like a drive and then transfer the pictures.
As an alternative, you can re-install the application and make sure you clean the registry files after uninstallation with a tool like CCleaner.
